Jack, somewhere in the mist

Jack B. Lit is a recovering ghost, a weather-worn author who writes the way he sails: by reading the wind and trusting it to take him somewhere worth going. He composes his own music, types on a machine older than most of his readers, and writes on the shore of Upper Saranac Lake in the NY Adirondacks, where the mist has a habit of handing him stories before coffee.

He has made a craft of literary fiction built for the modern attention span—short-form stories with full-length souls, made to be finished in a single sitting and remembered long after. A devoted student of "radical hope," he is convinced that the universe is less a collection of things than a collection of frequencies—and that humanity's job is simply to stop drowning out the music.

The Symphony of All Things, his debut audio-first solarpunk fable for all ages, asks whether we'll keep adding to the noise or finally add our voices to the song.
